4. 语法
情态动词的被动语态。初中阶段可用于被动语态的情态动词有can, may, must, need, should等,分别表示“能够被……”,“可以被……”,“必须被……”,“需要被……”,“应该被……”等。基本构成为 can, may, must, need, should + be +过去分词。
二、活动
1. Warming-up
“What Teenagers should be allowed to do?”为话题让学生通过大脑风暴brain-storm的形式发散思维,发表自己的看法。学生发表完想法之后,老师可以将其中一些写在黑板上,然后老师接着学生的想法在黑板上写上 “Should teenagers be allowed to choose their clothes?”这个问题,并提问学生的想法,可以存在争议,然后老师通过一句简单的 “We can continue to discuss it in the following lesson ‘teenagers should be allowed to chose their clothe.’”
2. 小组讨论法
将全班分为若干个小组,每一组选出一个组长。以小组为单位让学生讨论在青少年(10-20岁),在哪个年龄段时下面的事情是允许做的:go out at night / collect stamps / be alone at
home / ask the teacher questions / drink milk / read English magazines / eat eggs / write letters.组长记录下讨论的结果,然后由组长总结并向全班简单汇报。各组之间可进行对比,对存在争议的事情各组可以进行进一步的讨论。
