Pairwork and groupwork.教材使用构想首先，课本活动之前，主要先以图片及视频的形式引导学生进行词汇的认知和句型的理解。然后进行1a的匹配练习和1b的听力训练。对教材1c活动做pairwork对话练习。做2a和2b活动之前，进行简单的讲解帮助学生认识情态动词表推测，听后再次对must be ,could be ,might be ,can’t be进行区别练习.之后，进行小组调查练习，利用自己和同伴身边的物品对所学句型进行综合运用。在最后作业的布置中，给出例子引导学生将新旧知识进行综合运用。学习者特征分析本课教学对象为有一定语言基础的九年级学生，目标是学会用情态动词推测出物品的主人，此话题贴近学生生活，让学生能够有话可说。学生可以充分利用身边的物品进行两人对话活动。

Teach the new words and sentences.

Make some sentences with the target language.Step 3. ListeningⅠ(1b).

Guide students to read the instructions. Make sure they can understand the information.

Play the recording to let students match the things, materials and the countries.

Read the charts first.

Do the listening task on their books.

Check the answers.
