When they function as subjects, the verbs should be singular compared with words like: clothes, trousers, belongings, earnings, etc. Here comes the fifth rule: ”Words like news, physics, mathematics and Aids take a singular verb; words like goods, clothes, congratulations, belongings, earnings, savings and remains take a plural verb.Students are supposed to answer the questions using the structure “I like/don’t like… (subject), because…(subject) is easy/different to learn.”
Then more special words like clothes” “trousers” “belongings” are introduced.我话锋一转,谈了这么长时间,还没问你们学习方面的事情呢。于是乎,Physics,Mathematics,Politics等特殊的词就脱口而出了,又能顺势介绍一条主谓一致规则了。让学生用规定的句型回答问题,学生能自然而然体会到表示学科的名词作主语,谓语动词用第三人称单数。然后让学生比较同样以-s结尾的复数名词, 如clothes, trousers等。通过比较,学生对语法规则有一个更清晰的概念。Step 8Introduce phrases like “a part of”, “most of”, “all of” by a question “How many of you are interested in English?” Then I will introduce the sixth rule: “When the subject is “all of/ most of/ some of/ half of/ a part of +noun/pronoun, the verb agrees with the noun or pronoun. (ACTIVATE)教学反思?“主谓一致”是一个比较简单的语法现象,就是规则比较多,难以一下子记住。我从日常话题入手,将琐碎的语法规则贯穿于交流当中,让他们在语境中更快、更轻松、更准确地理解语法规则,并将这些规则内化,从而达到交际的目的。特别是最后一篇自创的融合了本节课所讲的全部规则的一篇短文,给学生提供了一个记忆语法规则的好素材。另外,由于这篇短文非常真实,描述的是他们真实的学校以及他们真实的学习生活,学生倍感亲切和自豪,由此将本节课推向了一个高潮。
本节课最大的不足之处在于板书设计不够规整、清晰。需练习和改进。
