Step1. Warm up:
Greetings.
Let’s begin our class with an English song. Ss can sing along with it.
Ask students: Are you happy today? What makes you happy? Students answer.
设计意图:学生在欢快愉悦的气氛中开始本节课的学习,激发学生的学习兴趣。教师和学生进行简单的交流沟通,拉近与学生的距离。
Step2. Review The Shirt of a Happy Man (Part I)
Teacher asks three questions according to the part I.
Retell the story together.
设计意图:帮助学生回顾Section A 3a 的故事,让学生对本节课所学的内容有初步的感知,为故事的发展做铺垫,让学生产生学习期待。
Step 3: Pre--listening Guess the possible endings.
T: Is the story over? Can the general find a happy man at last? Do you want to know the real ending to the story?
Students guess the possible ending in 1a, and then discuss some other possible endings to the story with the partner. Share the possible endings.
设计意图:鼓励学生预测故事的发展,激发学生的学习兴趣,为下一环节的听力做铺垫。
