Let’s the students know that things can affect people’s feelings.we should develop their positive attitudes.

4、Difficult and important points: without doing sth

教学方法

In this lesson, I will use situational method , task based method cooperation method and so on, I use these methods in order to give them more chances to practice ,that is ‘Learning by doing , learning by using .’

教学工具

In order to make the class lively and make Ss learn easily.I use powerpoint and recorder as teaching aids.

教学流程

Step1 Warming up.

(1)Sing an English song.

(2)Show the teaching aims and important and difficult point .

( Purpose: I think it can not only improve Ss spoken English but also it can form a better English surrounding for Ss. Let them know the aims well, help them learn better.)

Step 2.Lead in

1. Guess: How do they feel ?.

2. Pairwork: Think of what can make you happy?

( Purpose: In this way, we can attract Ss’ attention from the beginning and develop the Ss’ ability of speaking .To do so ,it compares with the Ss’ psychological and age characters. Showing the knowledge extension can attract the students’ interest and attention.)

Step3. Show time.

Chang the story about the unhappy king (Part 1) into a play.

(Purpose:Let the students make up a play according to the text in section A, this step attract more students to take part in the activity ,and it can also increase the students’ interest. )

Step 3. Dicussion.

Finish 1a . Look at the possible endings to the story about the unhappy king. Do you think any of these is the right one? If so, which one? The students can discuss in groups .

Finish 1b. What are some other possible endings to the story? Discuss your ideas with your partner.

(Purpose : I use the method of work in small groups to cultivate the students’ sense of cooperation and exploring spirit.)

Step 4. Listening

In this part , I will finish 1c and 1d.Before listening ,let the Ss know the questions of each one .then play the tape and check them one by one .

(Purpose: I do so in order to train the Ss’ good listening habit.)

Step5. Independent learning points.

The students learn them in groups and use them to make up sentences.

( Purpose : the students can solve the problems by themselves,this can also help them to grasp the knowledge better.)

Step 6. Work in groups.
