教学步骤:
Step1: Lead in
T: Do you like going shopping? When you go shopping, what do you care about?
【设计意图:以一个开放的问题开头,培养学生的发散思维,并引出本课学习的主要内容:thing, material, place】
Step2: Pre-listening
1. Present the new words by a free talk and guessing game.
1) T: Look , this is a shopping bag. What is the bag made of? It’s made of cotton. I bought it in China, but it was made in…?
T: What is the bag made of?
Ss: It’s made of cotton.
T: Where was it made?
Ss: It was made in Korea.
2) Use the same way to present fork, steel, coin, blouse ,chopsticks, silver and lead Ss to say the structure: What are the chopsticks made of? They are made of silver. Where were they made? They were made in China.
3) Teach and learn the new words and structures

3. Practice
1)Things in our life are made of different materials. Please match the thing with the material. More than one answer is possible.
2) Pair work: Talk about the pictures.

3.Talk about the picture and lead Ss to ask questions.
T: These are my friends, they are talking. What are they talking about?
