三、教学步骤:

I. Lead in

1、Let’s enjoy an English song called “Heal the World”. It’s sung by Michael Jackson. Please listen carefully. Then teacher asks students.

T: Do you like this song? Ss: Yes, I /we do.

T: Let’s make a better place for you and for me. Let’s heal the world.

2、Then present the pictures:

The earth is badly polluted.

Kinds of pollution: air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution.

The sharks are endangered. So save the earth!Save the animals.

设计意图:由Michael Jackson 演唱的一首名叫“Heal the World”的英文歌来导入新课。然后组织学生观看地球受到污染的图片,让学生意识到“保护环境、拯救地球”势在必行,有着不可推卸的责任。

II. Review Grammar Focus

Pay attention to the sentences.

1) We’re trying to save the earth. (Present Progressive)

2) The river used to be so clean. (Used to)

3) The air is badly polluted. (Passive Voice)

4) No scientific studies have shown that shark fins are good for health. (Present Perfict)

2.带领学生操练并体验句型、时态的用法,然后要求学生分析并总结现在进行时、used to的用法、被动语态及现在完成时的用法并进行拓展练习。

现在进行时: Present Progressive

Practice with pictures.

Look! T: What are they doing?

Ss: They’re practicing English/making conversations/watching the basketball games/playing basketball/playing football.

T: What are you doing now?

S1: I’m listening to the teacher. Then ask students to ask and answer (teacher is pointing at a student ).
