T: Today we are going to learn how to complete a “better” composition.
Step 2: Before writing
Show students the structure of a composition
Learn the 5 steps of a composition one by one
Learn about some proverbs
Step 3: while writing
Ask students to write a composition according to the requirements on their handouts.
Step 4: After writing
Show some students’ works and welcome other students to make comments on them
Step 5: Homework
Complete the task on the handouts and memorize as many connections and proverbs as possible.
Step 6: Teaching reflection
Learning process took too much time, students didn’t have enough time to complete the composition. It is a pity that we don’t have enough time to show students’ works. And that will be done next class.
