2.充分准备素材，以学生为中心，开展各项英语教学活动。课前准备课题，图片，多媒体课件。教学过程教学意图Step 1 Lead-in

1. Greetings:?Good morning boys and girls. Look at these pictures. Can you tell me where it is?

Do you love our hometown? Our hometown has many kinds of delicious food and a good environment.

2. Show some pictures of good environment in our hometown.

Step 2 Pre-writing

1. But some parts of our home town have bad environment. Show some examples.

2. So our hometown is also polluted. As a student, what should we do?

3. Show some ways on PPT.

4. As governments, what should they do?

5. List measures to protect our hometown. Ask a question “Is this a composition?”

Step 3 While-writing

1. A composition has three parts, the head, the body and the end.

2. Give an example to analyze its structure.

3. Analyze the body. The body has no logic.

4. Learn to use linking words.

5. Learn to write better sentences.

6. Give a writing task of 3b.

7. Analyze the structure of the writing.

8. List some useful phrases and sentences.

9. Write the composition.

Step 4 Post-writing

1. Exchange your composition in your group and correct the mistakes with your red pen.

2. Choose the best one for further presentation.

3. Teacher?lead?the?class?to?improve?the?article.

4. Present?a?model?article?with?the?project.
