Enjoy some beautiful photos of our school and students in the past and encourage students to share their special memories and experiences.
The teacher should be the first one to set an example for all the students.
(This part is designed to review what we’ve learned before and help students get ready for the coming reading material.)

Part 2 I remember
Invite a student to recite the poem I Remember and other students listen carefully and finish some tasks.
Task 1. Scan and answer questions
Extension: Different kinds of writing in English.
Task 2. Find the rhymes
Explain what a rhyme is first and then ask students readloudly to find the rhymes between the lines.
(Give some gifts to those volunteering to answer questions to arouse their interest and encourage them to take part in speaking practice.)

Translation practice
Try to translate some sentences using the key phrases in the poem.
Step IV? Extension
Part 3 To teachers and to students
Divide students into groups to write some words or sentences to the teacher that they will miss most. And ask them to write a letter to teachers after class if they have a lot to say.)
(Encourage students to use different kinds of words, such as adjectives, nouns and verbs.)
The teacher gives a conclusive speech to end the class.
(The speech aims at telling students to be brave to face difficulties in the future and learn to be thankful to people around them.)
