本班学生整体素质较好，凝聚力强，具有奋发向上的学习精神，竞争意识与良好的学习习惯，可贵的是许多学生还有丰富多彩的特长爱好与创新思维，为英语学习的多维表达赋予了更加广阔的展示空间。但由于近阶段学习任务加重，压力剧增，使学生在英语学习中出现了重笔头，轻口语的消极学习倾向。本节课设计的这场别开生面的英语毕业晚会，希望能帮他们缓解些许学习与思想压力，同时使他们亲身体验学好英语，运用英语的快乐与自豪感。
