学情分析
教师在平时的课堂教学,作业批改等过程中注意观察归纳学生的反馈,以及与学生的课下交流中观察了解学生的学习状况、学习特点和学习需求。认为自己的学生应该具备以下的特征:
知识与技能:
(1)学生通过对本单元前两个课时的学习,已经对本堂课的所涉及的背景知识unexpected events有了一定的了解。同时,初三年的学生已熟练掌握阅读的技巧(如泛读,跳读等等)
过程与方法:学生具备一定的自主学习能力和运用学习策略的能力,乐于与小组成员进行写作。
情感态度:初三的学生课堂积极性逐渐降低,需要通过互动,以及各种多种多样的活动来调动学生的积极性;学生希望的是和谐的、合作的、能相互沟通的课堂环境。本节课侧重使用希沃电子白板来制造信息差与引导学生更多的参与,互动性较强。但是部分学生对于在英语课堂开口仍然存在恐惧心理,合理地利用小组活动,并通过小组成员的互帮互助可以刺激了该部分学生说英语的兴趣,真正做到操练面广。
学习风格:学生的学习动机因个人性格、所处时间和环境等而有所不同,,尤其是不同学生有着不同的学习风格,有的学生是以接受听觉刺激为主,有的学生是以接受视觉刺激为主,因此教师设计的课堂活动要丰富多样,布置不同的任务兼顾全体学生的多种需要努力吸引每个学生。

教学过程
Step 1 Leading in
Enjoy the video and pictures about Typhoon Meranti and free talk with Students
Invite Students to talk more about the unexpected or unforgettable events they knew
Step 2 First-Reading
Skim the passage for the first time and check the events mentioned (A. Sep 11th,2001—World Trade Center in NY was attacked/ C. Feb 21st,2011—New Zealand Earthquake
Step 3 Second-Reading
(1).Scan paragraph 1 and find out the sentences which match to the pictures while zooming in(本教学环节使用的是希沃一体机中的放大镜功能,通过此功能引导学生更好地通过查读的方式了解文本)
(2).Read paragraph 1 again for about 3 mins and put the pictures in the correct order and write down the key words about time(本环节请学生到一体机上进行阅读后的排序,学生较充分地参与到课堂中来)
(3).Students work out the Mind-maps about paragraph 1 with their group members for about 3 mins, and show them on the screen, and invite one group to retell the 911 events according to their Mind-map (本环节运用了希沃一体机与手机相连接的功能,手机作为实时的展台功能,将学生现场生成的作品直接拍照上传,及时性与互动性增强了)
Step 4 Third-Reading
(1).Read paragraph 2 and match the expressions of time on the board(本环节请同学根据文本内容将时间的表达置于正确的位置,有效互动)
(2).Read the sentences about each time, and guss the writer's feelings.
