Listen to the article and judge the following statements true (T)or false(F)

2.Pandas have become very popular and now they are a symbol of China.

3.Adult pandas have babies very often,but some of the babies only live for a short time because of illness.

4.Pandas eat too much bamboo so they cannot find enough to eat.

5.The Chinese government is trying to help the pandas.

Step3: Scanning

Scan the article to find out what these numbers mean: 10, 12, 300, 2,000.

Step4: Fast reading

1.Read the article again and write short answers to the questions.

②What do the baby pandas have for breakfast?

③Why are pandas endangered?

④Why are the education program in Chengdu do?

⑤Why are scientists doing research?

2.Read the first two paragraphs quickly, then answer the following questions.

①What are the panda keepers doing at 8:30a.m. at the Chengdu Research Base?

②When the baby pandas see the panda keepers, what happened?

③What is Lin Wei responsible for?
