五、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:1) 扎实掌握与愚人节有关的重点词汇、短语。
2) 帮助学生自主运用听力策略,提高听力水平。
2. 教学难点:在听、说的过程中实现对目标语言-------过去完成时的输出。
六、教学过程:
1、Lead- in
Watch a short video and guess “What are people doing”, then ask questions to lead to the topic “April Fool’s Day”. Such as: “Have you ever played jokes on others? Or have you ever been fooled by others? ”, “How did you feel? ”
Task 1: Ask students to put words in the correct columns in the chart. Ask three students to write them on the blackboard.
Task 2: Competition: add more words about April Fool’s Day to each column. Students from each group go the blackboard one by one, and each student can only write down one word. See which group finishes the best.
设计目的:播放有关愚人节的小视频,通过问题引入愚人节的主题,使课堂气氛更活跃。同时,通过学生自主学习和补充有关愚人节的词汇并熟悉掌握它们的分类,为后文听力和语言输出做好前期准备;在学习过程中使用小组竞赛的模式,调动学生学习英语的积极性。
2、Before listening
Task 3: Prediction: ask students to predict what may Dave、Nick and Joe talk about according to four pictures.
设计目的:通过对图片预测,调动学生进行思考大致了解听力材料的内容,让学生形成心理预设,降低听力的难度。
3、While listening
Task 4: ask students to listen for the key words and get the main idea, and students don’t have to listen for every word.
