初三的学生已经具备一定量的词汇基础和基本语法知识，经过两年多的英语听说训练，已经能够独立听懂英语、表达英语及书写英语，本节阅读重在指导学生理解听力的关键词和引导学生大胆讲述他们曾经被愚弄过的故事。但初三的学生两极分化之势已见倪端，此时教师需要设计有梯度的课堂环节，兼顾到绝大多数学生，争取最佳的课堂效果。

学生们讲述他们曾经被愚弄的故事，要求口语流利，语音准确，语调标准，语法正确。
