Step1 lead-in
讲故事引入生词
Yesterday my friends invited me to a custume party.i dressed up like a spider man .i sang and danced with my friends at the party .i enjoyed myself at first .but then I didn’t hold my cup of coffee carefully. It dropped on the floor. The coffee splashed on my pants .i could do nothing but stand there like a fool .i was so embarrassed.
(故事导入激发学习兴趣,同时配合ppt呈现新词,语境中学习词汇。另外老师通过讲述自己过去经历,为学生做好示范,突出本节课的操练重点narrating the past event)
Step2 To help students revise parts of speech
T recap what nouns, verbs, and adjectives do.Remind Ss some words may have multiple functions.
Step3 To give Ss practice in narrating past events using the target language.
Sharing stories
(学生分成几组,用目标语言分享最近发生的事情,要求至少用到1a里词汇一次,小组选出最佳故事,到讲台前和班级分享。)
Step4 Introduce the history of the April Fool’ Day
(利用多媒体播放介绍愚人节的视频资料,让学生浸润在英语氛围中,同时为下面听说材料预热。)
Step5 To give Ss practice in listening for specific items in conversations
(在听力活动前带领学生结合图片预测图片发生的事情,告知学生任何故事都应该包含开头,中间,和结尾,而不是仅仅一句话)
Step6 listen again to find who says each of the phrases.
(此活动有助学生加深学生对故事情节的理解)

(考虑到听力语速过快和班级学生基础,采用填空复原听力内容,把第一人称改为第三人称,词汇在循环中复现提升,此环节设计为学生接下来讲述三位同学愚人节经历打好基础)

(此活动培养学生口语输出能力,听是输入,说是输出,只有经过自己加工整理的才是自己的真正所学的。每个学生可选择其中以为学生作为转述对象,先用第三人称,然后可以用第一人称I me 等)
