April Fool’s Day is also called All Fools Day. April Fool’s Day is on April 1st. On this day, people play jokes/hoaxes on each other in western countries. The jokes and their victims are known as "April fools". The meaning of modern April Fool’s Day is to make people to have the sense of humour.

Students learn the new words with the help of some pictures and the text book firstly,T and students write the notes secondly, lastly T asks students to try to remember the words secondly, and check them by matching the words in 1a.
