提高本土文化的认识，传播地方特色，加强国际理解。学情分析学生通过单元Reading 及More Practice文章的学习，掌握了一些介绍景点所用的词汇以及句型。作为初一年级学生，对广州一些著名地点了如指掌，并能口头用英文做简单的介绍。但在书面表达中，学生普遍是想到什么写什么，或者对给出的句子进行翻译。在构思文章时，缺乏写作逻辑思维。教学内容

分析本单元Reading 及More Practice课文介绍上海和香港两个地方的旅游景点，话题紧贴学生生活。文章结构非常清晰，有非常典型的用于介绍景点的句型，例如If you...you can..., one of the+adj. places is ..., ...is where+clause...,...is a +adj. place to visit是学生模仿学习的好素材。教学重点梳理典型的介绍城市旅游景点的句型。

帮助学生通过回顾已学知识，创设生活情景，建立课本知识与生活实际的衔接。

引导学生通过典型素材， 分析、推断文本信息的逻辑关系，掌握主旨句与支撑句在写作中的总分逻辑。教学难点引导学生在写作中使用恰当的主旨句总领下文。

指导学生能结合主旨句给出合理的支撑观点或者事实。
