Step 1 Warm-up

2. Free talk: What can you see in the video? Do you know the story about the little girl and the wolf? How many characters in the story? Do you know the ending?
(设计意图:通过和学生唱跳英文歌,激发学生学习热情,激活语言,为导入新课做铺垫。教师引导性地提问学生故事中的人物,帮助学生整体感知故事,快速又有效的进入故事情节。)
Step 2 Story learning
T: Today we are going to learn a story about a little girl. Look! This is the little girl. What does she wear?
Ss: She wears a pink dress, a red hat and a pair of bule shoes.
T: Her name is Little Red Riding Hood.
(设计意图:通过看图描述的方式导入故事主人公小红帽,既为后面故事展开做铺垫,又锻炼了学生口语表达能力。)
Scene one:
Show a picture of a forest and ask students “Where is she going?”
(设计意图:引出场景1的故事背景:小红帽在去外婆家的路上。)
T:Who does she meet? Ss: a wolf
T: Where is the wolf? Ss: It’s behind the tree.
T:What does the wolf want to do?
Ss: He may ask the little girl“Where are you going? Where is your grandma’s house?”
(设计意图:引导学生思考狼会对小红帽说的话,并对故事情节做补充,帮助学生更好的理解文本。)
The wolf wants to eat Little Red Riding Hood and her grandma. So he runs to Grandma’s house and knocks at the door, rat-tat.
Show the word “knock at” on the blackboard and do the action with students.
(设计意图:通过动作和声音引导学生理解单词“knock at”的含义。)
T:Grandma hears the sound and she says...
Ss: Who’s there? (listen and repeat) T: The wolf pretends to be the little girl, so he says...
Ss: Your grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood.
T: Grandma opens the door but she sees a wolf. She is so scared and she says... Ss: Help!
(设计意图:教师引导学生猜测故事情节,学生再模仿录音跟读,既帮助学生理解内容,也培养了学生的听说能力。)
