Step2: Revision
By asking and answering to review the everyday oral English, including“good morning””hello”, ”welcome to…”, “nice to see you”, ”how do you do”, “how are you?”.etc
Ask some students to review the sentence pattern ”what’s your name?” “where are you from?” “who is he/she?” “who are they?”
Step3: lead-in
Teacher and students listen and sing the song Where are you from?
Step4: New lesson
Learn the new word ”telephone” by showing the picture.
Teach and read the number from 0 to 10 by using cards. Pay attention to the rising tone and falling tone.
Listen to the tape and follow the numbers. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
Pair work. One student does the action about numbers, the other student says the English words.
Practice reading numbers in 1b and have a competition to see who is better.
