1 Lead in
Step1 : greeting .
Step2 : revision : review the numbers 1to 10.
T: How many fingers in my hands ?
S: One, two ,three ,four , …. Ten.
T: How many fingers in my hands ?
S:Ten, nine , eight, seven … ten.
Purpose:to draw student’s attention .Let students interested in this class.
2 Presentation
Step1 : using flash card show the new words.
T: Read after me . [using flash card show number 11, 12 ]
T : Checks students’ reading through “single reading, group reading and whole class reading.
Step2 : Teaching the sentence
1, Look. What's the time? It's four thirty. What does Julia say?”
T asks Ss open the book show the sentence “ It ’ s early. Let's play.”
2 ,Teacher set the clock to 5 o 'clock “ Now, what’ s the time ?” Next“ It's five o'clock. Are they going home?” T show the “go home” flash card . ,Teaching “go home.”
3, Teacher set the clock to 6 o 'clock, :“ Oh , It ’ s six o’ clock. Julia is at home now. What does mom say? “ You ’ re late.”
4, T plays the tape slowly again to let the students can read after the tape.
Purpose : By learning new words ,sentence and read the text ,students can use them to talk with classmates.
3,Production
Step1: playing a game: How many fingers how many times
“I show how many fingers to the word ,you should Read it ,how many times”
Step2: practice: T asks Ss to role play the Lily and Julia with their partners.
T asks some Ss to present their dialogues in front of the class (T will check later).
