Step 1Warming up
1.Greetings.
2Sing songs Happy New Year !:and Music Appreciation Happy Children’s Day !
3.Question:Who can tell me ? The song is about……..?Make stuadents answer and lead in :
Unit 8 Children’s Day Part A
Step 2 Presentation
Learn the new words.
Show some Children’s piture and learn the new word Children/They are Children./ Children’s Day/ Happy Children’s Day ! Compare a piture of child then learn new word child / a child / She is a child .
Questions:On Children’s Day , What can you do ?(Look at the pictures and make students answer. )
For example: Show picture1,a park then learn new words:park /go to the park/Let’s go to the park./ in the park / I can ………in the park.(show some pictures :sing ,dance,draw,swim,run,skate,ride a bike,play football,fly a kite,and learn the new word :fly/fiy a kite /I can fly a kite…. )
Step 3 Practice
Read after to the tape .and learn the new words: kid ,kids , ready.
Read by themshelves.
Read the key sentences:
Let’s go to the park .
I can play football in the park .
I can fly my kite in the park .

Step 4 Extension/
1.Four in gronp and make role play, and then act it out in the classroom .
