Step1: Warming up:
1. Greetings:
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls? How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you! And you?
T: I’m fine, too. Let’s enjoy a song There are seven days in a week.
(设计意图:课的开始,以自由谈话的形式和学生交流,再通过欣赏歌曲,提高了学生学习英语的兴趣,又复习了旧知,为今天的重点内容做了铺垫,让学生很快地进入到课堂)
Step2: Presentation
1.?Revision
星期的单词复习,引入单词“month”的学习,用Monday来辅助学习Mon的发音,Thursday来学习“th”的发音,着重强调“th”。由此引入课题,学习四个月份。
2.??New words:
T: today we will learn some new words about months. Please read after me. Months of the year. Month, month, do you know? How many months are there in a year?
Ss: 12 months.(引导学生回答12个月)
T: Now let’s learn some months here: March, April, May, June…
(教师拿出日历,让学生学习月份单词?)
通过游戏的形式来操练单词:magic fingers, high or low voice, driving a train。着重教学“April”,并与单词apple区分。操练形式有:1S and Ss, Ss and Ss, Boys and girls等。
3. New sentences:
通过日历学习完本课新单词,教师通过与学生对话引出本课新句型。
