教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1.师生互致问候。
2.全班一起观看电影短片：Zootopia, 引出本单元课题，有关于animals.
3.揭示课题并板书:Unit 2 A Visit to the Zoo Part B。
Step 2 Review
复习有关动物的单词。
1.教师说:“We have learned many words about animals.（板书animals）What are they? Please write down the words on the blackboard.”
2.请一个学生说出一个有关动物的单词并板书在黑板上,再请另一位学生说并上台板书,以此 类推,不可重复。
3.教师与学生一起校对答案,并给学生一些时间记背单词。
4.游戏：Bingo。
游戏规则:请学生拿出一张纸,画好九宫格,教师随机说出九个有关动物的单词,学生写在九个格子里。教师再出示九个单词中的任意三个单词,如果学生的九宫格中，这三个单词在一条线上,该生马上大声说：“Bingo。”最先喊出“Bingo”的人赢得游戏。
Step 3 Presentation
（一）教学单词animal和saw
1.让Ss看课本第11页的第一幅图说:“Now the kids are at home. What did their mother ask them?”What animals did you see，children?教学animals和该问句。
2.请学生自读课文,找出凯特和本所说的动物名称
3.在单词前加上We saw,并在单词间加上逗号和单词and, 使之成为一个句子。
4.教学单词see的过去式saw。
（二）学习单词hungry，ate和句型Did you…? Yes，…./ No，….
1.T:Look at the picyure2 on page 11,,and answer the question: ”What did Sally do?”并讲解有关描述动物的形容词。
2.T：When you visit to the zoo. Did you give bananas to the monkey?
3.提出两个问题:
Did Sally take a photo of the baby elephant?
Did the children give bananas to the monkeys？Why not？
4.教学第一个问句及其答句Yes. She took a photo of a baby elephant.
5.教学第二个问句及其答句No，they didn’t. They were hungry .They ate the bananas.
