Step 1 Review

Play a color game , everyone has some papers in their hands. I will choose a student, when he say yellow, the other students should shake the yellow papers.

2. Use the color papers to practice the sentence structure “ What color is ……” “It is……”

T:OK. Now look at this card. What color is it?

Ss:Black.

T:Yes. It’s black.

T:What color is that paper?

Ss:It’s blue.

T:Good. What color is this paper?

Ss:Yellow.

T:Yes. It’s blue. What color is it?

Ss:It’s pink.

What color is it?

It’s blue.3. Look at the following pictures, and go on practice “What color is / are ……?” “It is / They are……”

Step 2 Presentation

1. Listen to a color song .There are many colors, then lead to the new lesson.

2. T:Now look at the picture. Who is this boy? ( point to Michael.)

Ss:He is Michael.
