Step1. Warming up and lead in.
Talk about the picture and review the numbers of 1—12.(song的图片)
T: What are these?
Ss:They are monkeys.
T: How many monkeys are there?One,two,three...(引导学生数数并作出回答)
Ss:There are nine.
T:OK.What do they like?(They like bananas.)How many bananas are there? Let’s sing a song, then tell me.

T: Yes, the monkeys like bananas, and they like peaches too.
Step2. Presentation
由Monkey King 引出peaches,再用新句型How many peaches are there?来学习新单词fourteen。
T:Look, this is the Monkey King. He likes peachesvery. Look, many peaches. How many peaches are there? Let’s count! One, two, three...fourteen.
Ss:There are fourteen.(引导学生回答)(ppt 出现图片和句型)
four+teen→fourteen(PPT 出现)
以four+teen→fourteen这种方式引出sixteen, seventeen, eighteen,nineteen的学习。
six+teen→sixteen
seven+teen→seventeen
eight+een→eighteen
nine+teen→nineteen(这些出现在同一张PPT上,每学一个词,再由独立一张PPT出现相应数量的图和句型操练数字和句型。)
情景:The Monkey King eats a peach. Now how many peaches are there? 继续以新句型How many peaches are there?来引入新词thirteen的学习。
