Step 2 Presentation of Vocabulary

1. T: What can you see?

Ss: Many oranges.

T: Yes, many oranges.

2. (PPT present a tree with four oranges )

T: Look! Many oranges are on the tree. How many oranges are there?(Repeat some times)

Ss repeat it after T.

T: Let’s count! One, two, three, four. There are four.

Ss repeat.

Then present ten more oranges and add “teen” after the word “four” and teach “fourteen”.

T: How many oranges are there now?

Lead Ss to answer with “There are fourteen.”(Board writing)
