Step one: Warming up and lead in
Greetings and free talk: Good morning, boys and girls. What day is it today?(It’s Wednesday.) Today is a good day, because Miss Huang is going to move to a new home. So I’m happy. I want to sing a song. Do you like singing?(Yes.) Ok, let’s sing a song about my home together.
Step two: Presentation
Show a picture of home and ask Ss to guess “What’s in my home?”
Talk about the rooms in my home and let Ss to find some rules of the rooms in my home.
Watch a video and sum up the pronunciation of “oo”.
Step three: Practice
Show my favorite room and ask Ss to make a survey in groups about their partners’ favorite room.
