Step2:Review the phrases.

Talk with the students about the pictures : play outside see a movie surf the Internet go to the park read a story make a snowman

Play a game: sharp eyes.

Review more phrases with verbs.

Have a match: who knows more phrases.

Step3:Set up the situation and practice the drills .

It’s 4:20pm now. What do you want to do? What does he/ she want to do ?

Lead the students to listen carefully and pay attention to use “wants” to answer the questions.

Step4: Discuss:1. What do you want to do for your family?

What do you want to do for your class or your teachers?

Lead the pupils to be helpful for the others.

Step5:Do a survey and have a report.

1. Set up the situations: Weekend is coming. We can do many things. What do you want to do ?

2. Do a survey to know what your good friends want to do, and fill in the forms.

Step6: Homework

反思本节课我和孩子们愉快地完成了教学设计预定的教学目标和教学任务,孩子们积极主动地参与到教学过程中的每一个教学环节。游戏和比赛充分激发了他们对英语的热爱;而讨论和比赛既训练了他们的思维能力又扩充了他们的词汇量、拓展了他们的知识面;而教学任务的设计则让孩子们有目的地、有针对性地学习和探究。从孩子们在教学过程的表现看我们的教学效果是良好的,孩子们在听、说、读、写方面的都得到了充分的训练和提升。同时在教学过程中我发现了一些处理不到位的地方,如在Do a survey的示范过程中没有用投影展示出来,虽然孩子们在平时的课堂教学中经常会完成Do a survey的任务,但还是有必要投影展示出来的。我们的课堂教学是一个实践、反思、完善的过程,相信通过这一节课,以后我的课堂教学会更成熟和更完美。
