Step1 Warming up

1. Greeting.

2. Free talk.

3. Sing a song “ What can we do?”

4. Look and say.

Purpose: 通过课前谈话、歌曲和看图造句等活动,消除学生紧张心理,建立融洽关系,并复习巩固旧知识,为课前预热。

Step2 Presentation

1. Look at the pictures and guess “What does he do?”---- (reporter)

2. Let Ss read the text quickly and find out the answer to this question “Where was the reporter?”

3. Let Ss read the text carefully for the second time. Then answer the questions on Page P71.

4. Check the answers.

Seep the knowledge about Mid- Autumn Festival.

5. Read the text. (Role play)

6. Watch the vedio about the ocean pollution

Purpose: 先让学生根据工作所需要的工具猜猜人物的职业,认识reporter的单词,引导学生第一次快速阅读文章,找出where was the reporter?的答案,让学生对文本内容有一个大概的理解。接着引导学生进行第二次细读文章, 并回答课本P71问题,学生在细读文章的过程中对文本内容有了进一步的理解。在讲解答案的时候渗透文本提到的中秋节的一些知识,并让学生谈一谈他们在中秋节经常做的事情。在文本结束让学生思考,如果没有保持沙滩干净,大海会发生什么?观看海洋受污染的影片,让学生更深层次的了解文本的核心意图。
