Step 1: Pre-reading
Introduce five friends to the students :Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, Nini. Watch the video about the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony and answer the simple question about the video.

Task 1: Listening
Listen and think. First, show the question to the student “What’s the name of the building on this postcard?” and ask the student to listen to the tape. After listening and answer the question.

Read in groups and underline the key words, after that the students answer the questions.
