Step 1. Warm up
Hello, boys and girls, how are you today? Before the class, I want to show you a little cartoon. Do you want to watch it? While you are watching, please try to find the answers of the question: What’s the name of the cartoon and the name of the boy?
Play the cartoon!
T: Who can answer the questions? Do you like this cartoon? Do you know where is Aladdin’s hometown? Yes, it’s in a desert.
Look at the blackboard, it’s a desert. Write down the first word on the board.
Step 2. Lead in
Today, Gogo, Jenny and Tony come to the desert, and something magic happened, do you want to know what happen? Now you are going to watch the video, and while you are watching , try to find the answers of these questions’ What did Gogo say?’
Play the video of the story
T: Who can answer my question?
S: He said: I’m hungry!
T: Very good! Write hungry on the board. What did Gogo say next? Write down thirsty, bottle, magic lamp.
Do you want to watch the video again? This time while you are watching, you should intimate the persons in the story and try to follow it with feelings, ok?
Play it again.
Step 3. Task
Now you are going to have six minutes, try to perform the story with your partners, and later, you are going to perform it in front of the class.
Show them the clock and teacher walk around.
Step 4. Show Time
Ask students from each group to have their performance in front of the class.
After each group gives their show the other students should give them an evaluation.
Step 4. Summary
What did you learn this class? Ask them to make a summary.
