1.教学重点:
(1)能够运用短语won the game, had some cotton candy, had fun with friends, got a gift描述自己一天的活动,并能写成一篇小短文。
(2)能够运用What happened?句型询问别人发生的情况。
2. 教学难点:
(1)能够运用first, next, after that, and then描述自己开心或糟糕的一天的活动的先后次序。
(2)理解并运用动词不规则变化的过去式:win—won, eat—ate, have—had, get—got.

Step 1 Warm- up
1. Free talk.
2. Talk about one’s weekend.
T: Where did you go last weekend? What did you do?
Did you have a happy weekend?

Step 2 Presentation
Teacher shows some pictures about her happy/lucky day.
I was happy last Saturday. First, I had fun with friends . Next, I won the game .After that, I ate some cotton candy . And then, I got a nice gift
. I had a lucky day.
2. Watch the video of Jenny’s day. Teach target, listen and say.
T: What about Jenny? Did she have a lucky day, too?
Ss: Yes, she did. She had a lucky day.
T: What happened to her?
S1: First, she had fun with friends.
