教学难点:灵活运用新旧词组进行英语交流

教学用具:CAI, word cards, picture cards, some paper and worksheet and so on.

教学过程:

Step 1: Warming up

Greetings

Talking about the giving tree

T: Do you remember that tree?

Who is the giving tree in your life?

(设计意图:以之前的主题班会课讲到的“感恩树”进行引入,唤起学生对父母爱的情感,为本节课的教学埋下伏笔。)

3. Watching a video “mother”

(设计意图:通过观看视频《母亲》,让学生通过视觉和听觉感受父母的辛苦,从而引出在家要为妈妈做力所能及的事情,要 “being helpful”.)

Step 2: Revision

1. Talking

T: Do you love your mother?

T: We love our mothers. Because they love us, they do lots of things for us. Can you tell me, what does your mother do at home?

2. Review the phrases they have learned before this class.

E.g. sweep the floor, wash the dished…

(设计意图:复习旧知识,新旧知识进行融合教学)

Step 3: Presentation

Teach the new phrases

T: Your mothers do a lot of housework at home. So what do you think of your mother?

T: They are tired. Can you do some housework for your mother?

T: Are you helpful at home? What does your room like?

2. Tom’s room (设计意图:从Tom的房间引出新词)

T: I want to go into Tom’s room. What should I do first?

Ss: You should open the door first.

T: Right. I should open the door first. (Write the word “open” on the board and have them read it together.)

(设计意图:强调open一词,为后面学习turn on 做好铺垫,让学生更好地理解二者之间的区别。)

(Show them a picture of a dark room.)T: Oh, It’s dark. We can’t see anything in the room. What can we do?

(设计意图:房间很黑,引导学生“开灯”,进而学习新词turn on the light。)
