Step1: Warm-up
1.Greeting.
2.sing the song “On the beach today”
T:DO you like the beach?Would you like to play at the beach?
Ss answer together.
Step2: Presentation
1.T:OK,let’s go to the beach with May and Tom.(T draws a picture of the beach,and pasted Tom’s and May’s pictures)
Look at the picture of a beach,and ask:
Where is May and Tom?
What can you see?
Listen,what can you hear?
(Ss answer,T write the key sentence patterns:I can see/hear…)
2.T show a bucket,show and ask:what can you see in the bucket?
(Ss say:NO.)
Shake it ,and ask:what can you hear?
(Ss say:NO.)
T :OK,We can see nothing,and hear nothing.Please try to feel it.
(Let some students feel and guess,Twrite down the key sentence:I can feel…)
T:Yes.It’s a fish.Is it big?
Ss:No,it’s small.
T:It’s a small fish and a crab.(T write down the title of the story:The small fish and the crab.)
3.T:The small fish and the crab are in the bucket now,but where are they from?
Ss:Waves.
T:Yes,they lived in the waves ,they lived in the sea.(T pasted them in the waves in the blackboard.)
Guess,what can they see in the sea?what can they hear? What can they feel?
(Ss guess)
4.T:What a rich inmaganation!Look,there are four pivtures of the small fish and the crab.Order them and you’ll know the answer.Please try to order them in group.
