教师、学生活动纪要设计意图Warming up:

(1)Sing a song: Happy Fruit.

Presentation and practice:

Look and say: what fruits are they?

Teacher shows some fruits and present words: apples, pears, oranges, bananas, grapes, lemons, mangoes, kiwis, watermelons, pineapples, peaches, strawberries.

Pair work: what fruits grow on the tree or on the ground? Invite one pupil to put the fruits grow on the ground in the right place.

T:There are a lot of fruits here.What fruit do you like?

S: I like….

T:Different people like different fruits. Do you want to know what fruit Miss Chen likes?

Teacher tastes lemon and squeeze out juice, talk about other fruits, present sentences respectively: They’re sour/juicy/sweet.

Invite some pupils to enjoy some fresh fruits. When one pupil taste, others ask: what fruit do you like? The pupil say out the sentences: I like.... They’re sour/juicy/sweet.

After tasting, pupils group the fruits into mind map one by one.

Development and consolidation:

(1)Group work:

Set a situation: Spring outing is coming, let’s buy some fruits in a fruit shop.

Act out a seller and buyers.Teacher does a demo with one group pupils first.

Seller: Fresh fruit. Fresh fruit. Welcome to Healthy fruit shop. Excuse me. Can I help you?

A: Yes, please. We want to buy some fruits.
