Part 4 Teaching procedures (第四部分 教学过程)
Step 1:Warm up and revision
Greetings: T: Hello boys and girls! Ss: Hello Mr Huang.
T:First, we will play a guessing game. I will do the actions and ask“What’s this? You should answer “This is a .......” understand??”
After the warm up will ask the students. Do you like animals? OK. Let’s go to the zoo and meet more animals. Look at the video together .
Step 2:Presentation
At first, I’ll show some pictures of the animals and let the students to learn. In this way, the new words pig and tiger will be presented.Teacher the new words:pig and tiger.The second is to let the students learn how to introduce the new animals to others. I’ll show the example for them. This is a cat. That is a tiger. Then I will let the students discuss when should we use this and that. Here I prepared a tip for the students.After that, we’ll do a pair work to introduce more animals to each other to practice.
The third is to present the plural forms of the animal words, these and those. Look! More animals are coming. How can we introduce them? These are the pigs. Those are elephants. Here is also a tip of these and those for the students.
After the summary of this, that, these and those, we’ll try to introduce more animals to our friends. This is a cat. That is a tiger. These are pigs. Those are elephants.
Step 3:Consolidation
The first is to listen and repeat. Let the students get familiar with the dialogue and sentences on the book.
The second is to describe other things at the zoo. What else can you see at the zoo? Look! These are... Those are …
The third one is to describe the objects in the dining room in groups. Now please introduce the objects in your group.
Step 4:Extention
The extention is a group work to design your own with the animal stickers. And then introduce the animals to other members in your group.
Animals are cute and friendly. We should love and protect them, because we are friends.Then learn a song: Our Frirends
Homework: Design your own park. Draw a picture and introduce it to your friends.
课后反思:本节课是接力出版社小学英语四年级上册《 Lesson 15 These are the pigs.》第一部分的教学内容。本节课的重点和难点都是教会学生正确运用句型“That is...”和“Those is...”。让学生在训练和老师的引领下去学会理解这些句型在日常生活中的使用。在课堂上我运用多媒体课件一一呈现两个句型的内容,让学生在练习和交际中真正运用所学的句型。最后通过本课的学习和一些歌谣的形式,教育学生要爱护和保护动物,因为动物是我们的好朋友。我认为这些是本节课的亮点。但是教学过程中还有很多有待改进和提高的地方,比如:应该采取多样化的教学手段,采取更新颖的教学理念去设计教学等等。我想,以后我会不断努力争取更大的进步!
