Step?1:?warm-up.?热身环节,?Can?you?say?them?quickly??请学生快速、大声说出单词。?这一环节的设计意图是:?通过这样的方式既复习了单词又提高了学生的紧张感,?为上课做好准备。
Step?2:?lead in.新授环节
(1)播放录音,学生听、回答问题:What’s wrong with Tom?,引出新单词。教师用手摁着头,假装很痛苦的样子说: I’m not feeling well,too. I have a headache. 帮助学生理解这两句话,板书这两个句型,出示单词卡well,headache并教读,学生开火车读。
(2)请一部分学生假装头痛,教师关心询问:What’s wrong with you? 学生回答:I’m not feeling well. I have a headache.
(3)教师继续扮演生病的样子,指着鼻子说:I have a cold. I have a runny nose.帮助学生理解a runny nose的含义,出示单词卡runny并教读,学生分组读。
(4)让学生扮演感冒病人说:I have a headache. I have a runny nose.教师送上一杯热水说:You have a cold. Drink some hot water and have a good rest.引导全体学生操练这句话。
(5)教师指着挂图说: Tom is not feeling well. He has a headache and a runny nose. If you were Tom’s mother, what should you say to him? 让学生继续预测。
(6)教师问: The boy has a fever. What should he do?引导学生说:Take some medicine and have a good rest.教师呈现药的实物或图片帮助学生理解。然后呈现单词卡medicine,学生分小组朗读,并进行大小声游戏练习该单词。
(7)呈现Ask and answer板块挂图说:Look. They are not feeling well. What’s wrong with them? 指导学生看图,引出每一种病情,并给出合理的建议。
(8)教师播放录音,学生看课本跟读。
(9)教师与一个扮演病人的学生进行谈论健康的对话,为学生做示范,然后学生两人一组进行对话练习。
(10)四人小组活动:
两人一组,每名学生准备好本课所学的四张病历卡,一名学生先抽出一张卡片,根据所抽的卡片内容扮演病人,另一名学生问:What’s wrong with you?该生给出回答: I have a …..另一名学生给出合理的建议: Go to see the doctor/….然后交换进行。
拓展:Good memory动作接龙
游戏方法:教师只给一个同学出示卡片,该同学根据内容作出动作,第二个同学接着做出一个与之相关联的动作,第三个同学同理接着做出一个与之相关联的动作,第四个同学根据第三个同学的动作说出自己的理解。
A:What’s wrong with you?
B:I have a headache and a runny nose.
A: Let me see. You have a cold. Drink some hot water and have a good rest.
B: Thank you, doctor.
