Play a video ‘Ten Little Indians’

Sing together. Review the number1-10

Lead in

T: Great. You’re good at singing. Now, let’s spell the numbers.

S: One, two, three...

T shows the pictures of numbers. Students spell and T sticks them on the blackboard.

Presentation

I. Draw clock hands

S: Boys and girls, magical time !

What’s this?

T: A clock.

S: The clock can tell us the‘Time’.

S writes the Time on the blackboard.

S: Look at this clock. What’s the time?

T writes the sentences on the blackboard,

What’s the time?

It’s ... o’clock.

II. Using the clock to talk

Teacher shows a clock and ask “What’s the time?”.

Choose a student to be a little teacher to ask.

Using clock to show 6:30 and 7:30

III. Let’s write

Let students write the dialogue and check.

IV.Play a game. Tick tock

Teacher use her hands as clock hands.

It’s 6:30. It’s time to get up.

It’s 7 o’clock. It’s time for breakfast.

It’s 7:30 o’clock. It’s time for school.

It’s 8 o’clock. It’s time to begin our class. At this time,if you go to school, you’ll be late.
