Step1. Lead-in
Draw a street. But there is nothing in the street.
Bran storm: What’s in the street?
S: cars/treses/ buildings/persons/traffic light/traffic signs…
教师把学生回答的内容以简笔画的形式画在板书上，并对交通标志进行复习，比如：We mustn’t turn left. We can park the car here.
T：Colour the light red , and ask : Look at the red light. We…
S: We mustn’t cross the street now.
【设计意图】以头脑风暴的形式，激发学生思维和想象，并从学生的回应中挖掘各种有用的信息来丰富简笔画中的街区场景，呈现出热闹真实的生活景象，即形象又生趣，最后以红灯自然导入本课课题。
Step2. Presentation
Listen、follow and answer the questions:

Where are they going? S:They are going shopping.
Listen 、follow and underline the traffic signs you hear.
S: red light、green light、white lines.
通过学生的回答，引出重点词组go shopping 和 white lines,并进行操练。通过三个交通信号和简笔画中的boy，自然过渡到重点句子的学习。
