Step 2: Talk about your favorite animal and why do you like it with partner. Then some pairs act out the conversation to the class.

Stage 3:Presentation

Step 1: Read the conversations in roles.

Step 2: Act out the conversations.

Step 3: Look at the picture in 2. Write down the words for animals

in the picture. The whole class check the answers together. Then

guide Ss to report the animals’ favorite food with “I think...”.

E.g. S1: I think meat is the tiger’s favorite food

Stage 4 Consolidation

Step 1: Guide Ss to look at the pictures in Section C 1a, and predict the main idea of the passage according to the three questions:
