四年级学生通过一年的学习,对一些英语单词及句型有了简单的了解和掌握,具备一定的知识基础。本单元的话题是理解和表达能/会做某种动作等话题的简单信息,功能是了解和运用能/会做某事的基本表达形式。通过本单元教学使学生能够听、说、认读新授单词run,jump ,swim, fly,walk,在真实情景中运用所学单词以及所学句型“What can you do? I can…”并能正确书写,本课时内容比较贴近学生生活,是学生们比较喜欢的话题之一,所以有利于学生间开展交流。儿童的天性使得他们活泼好动,学习欲望强烈,喜欢歌曲、歌谣、游戏等方式,本节课就注重通过这些方式来激发学生兴趣,培养他们听说读写、综合运用语言等多种能力。

教学重点:To master the four-skill words and sentence patterns.
教学难点:To understand and speak the sentence pattern “What can you do? I can…” And use the sentences in real situation.?

活动1【导入】Step 1 Warming up and Revision.

T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning/afternoon.
2.Listen to?a nice song.

活动2【讲授】Step2 Presentation and drill
1.T: I like rabbits, too. Put on a rabbit head cloth and says: “I’m a rabbit. Jump. Jump .I can jump.”
Teach “jump J-U-M-P”. Write the word on the blackboard. Read and do the action.
(利用头饰和动作引出新词,吸引学生注意力,让学生直观感受。)
T: Oh, you jump very lovely. You’re lovely rabbits.
What can you do, rabbits?
Lead Ss answer like this: Jump/Jump I can?jump.
2.Write the sentences on the blackboard.
3.Ask and answer in pairs.
