七、教学过程
Step one: Warm up and Revision
1.Greetings:
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning.
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you.
2.Let’s sing a song “Apple round”
3. I like singing and I like eating, too. So let’s go to KFC and have something. 我用PPT呈现到KFC去的情景。T:Wow.. So much food. Bread is my favorite food. I like some bread. 我拿着食物词卡走下台,并问Ss: Do you like bread?同时,用PPT在多媒体上呈现这句话:Do you like bread? (并逐步替换划线部分食物单词)并引导Ss说:Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.
[设计意图] 设计KFC真实的情景,不仅要以吸引学生的注意力,而且也提高了学生学习英语的兴趣。这样可以更好地复习三年级所学的食物单词。
Step two: Presentation and practice
1.创设情景 (Go to Zoom’s home)
My friend Pig made a call for me. She tells me Zoom is learning how to cook Chinese food. Now let’s go to Zoom’s home and have a look. 这时我带上Zoom的头饰,并用PPT呈现Zoom’s home图片。??
(1)教学单词:vegetable
我拿出vegetable的实物。T:What’s this? 引导Ss: This is vegetable. (同时用PPT呈现vegetable的图片)并板书单词vegetable。首先,我用升降调法教学生读,vegetable↑ 、vegetable↓ 由于大部分学生还很难读准此单词,我用拆分法来教授:vege+table=vegetable
(2)教学单词:beef
我用PPT播放cow的声音,让学生来猜测是什么动物,之后呈现cow图片。引出beef单词。我用音标来教授此单词。ee/i:/ → beef并
板书单词beef。接着,我用“快速读单词”游戏来巩固此单词。
(3)教学单词:fish
我设计了“Guess game”来引入单词。我用PPT呈现内容:“ I’m yummy to eat. I can swim in the water. The cat likes me very much. Who am I?”之后,我呈现fish图片。接着,我边做fish动作边教授单词。并板书单词fish, 最后我采用小组比赛的形式来巩固单词。
(4)教学单词:rice
Now Zoom has cooked vegetable, beef, fish and rice. (用PPT呈现出rice的图片)同时,我戴上mouse的头饰,用PPT呈现一个Chant并和学生一起说唱:Rice, rice, I like some rice. Rice, rice, I like some rice. 并板书单词rice。然后,我用PPT引出本课的句型:Can I have some rice, please? 我采用拍手的方法教学生读,使他们很容易就会读此句子。并引导学生回答:Sure. Here you are.(我边做出动作,边教授学生读)最后,让学生和同桌互相操练,并请几组学生带着头饰在台上表演对话。
(5)教学单词:soup
我还着头饰并说:Now I am thirsty. Can I have some soup, please? 用PPT呈现Zoom: Sure. Here you are. 我用音标的方法教授学生读此单词ou /u:/→ soup 并板书单词soup同时,我采用大小声的方法来巩固此单词。接着,我和学生先示范表演对话,我戴着mouse头饰,学生戴着Zoom 头饰??Mouse: Can I have some soup/ rice, please? Zoom: Sure. Here you are. 然后,我请学生上台来表演对话。
(6)教学单词:noodles
