(一)Warm up
1.Greeting.
2.Play a game“Follow me”to review the old words “beside, between, in front of , behind”.
3.Free talk :What day is today? What’s the weather like today? Where is …? Where do you live ?从而导出课题My community.
(二)Presentation
1.出示课件,Listen the text and answer the questions:
(1)Is there a park in the community?
(2)Are there any restaurants?
(3) Are there any toy shops?
由问句学习新词“park, shop, cinema, supermarket, toilet”及核心句型Are there any…?并引出肯、否回答Yes ,there are./ No,there aren’t.
2.根据课件提示,运用句型“Are there _____ ______ in your community? Yes ,there are./ No ,there aren’t.”进行快问快答练习。
3.Practice in partners (根据实物图片) using “Is/Are there… in the classroom ?”
4.Let’s go to see Xiao Hui’s community. Read the text. Then the students read it silently and answer the questions:
