Step II: Lead in and presentation
Ask ss “How do you like our school?” and lead in the key sentences “there is/ are…”to introduce our school.
Write it down together and read it.
Look at the pictures and learn the new words. Read and write together.
Listen to the dialogue and answer the question “What are they talking about?”
Listen and read after it.
Read the dialogue and tell true or false.
Step III Practice
1.Ss will practice the usages of “behind” and “in front of”.(Two students stand up and other one tell us their location.)
2.Ss have a group competition for the new words.The winner who read the best gets two.
3.Ss look at the pictures and fill in the blanks.
4.Ss complete the dialogue with partners.
5.Draw a picture of our school and introduce it to your partners with the key sentence pattern “there is/are…”.
