3. To make the students know the basic instructional words: Act like a…，and can follow the instructions to do the actions accordingly；
情感目标：
To help the students develop the consciousness of preserving animals；
To make the students have a knowledge of different living habits of different animals。
技能目标：
To cultivate the students’ abilities of listening, speaking and reading；
To train the students’ competence of communication and sociability。
教学重点：
The pronunciation of the words of the animals；
Let the students can use those words in real life。
教学难点：
1. To enable the students to master the five new words: cat, dog, bird, monkey, tiger ；
2. To let the students grasp the key sentence structures: What’ this ? It’s a…；
3. Make the students can use those words and sentence structures in real life。
教学方法：
根据我校一年级学生的年龄特点及本课的教学需要，我将采用TPR、直观教学法、问答法以及游戏环节等教学方法。坚持创设良好的英语学习氛围，激发学生的学习兴趣，充分调动学生的学习积极性，倡导学生才是教学的主体，把课堂交给学生。
学习方法：
在本课的教学中，坚持以新课标为指导，让活动和游戏贯穿整个教学环节，坚持在“情景对话”中学习的教学原则，使学生运用听说、模仿、操练、游戏等方法来进行本课的学习。
