= 3 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT III . Analysis of the teaching material
This is the 5th period of Unit 2, Oxford English, 7A. The previous periods of this unit has already taught Ss many key words and expressions about daily life and rules of the simple present tense as well as the adverbs and adverbial phrases of frequency. So this is a revision period and focuses on the language using, especially using the simple present tense with the singular form in 3rd person in speaking and writing.
This period requires students to talk about someone’s daily life and write an article about it.
In order to let Ss be more familiar with the topic, Ss are going to talk about one of their teachers’ daily lives instead of Fang Fang’s daily life in this period. This is one of our school’s teaching features – integration of the teaching material.

The students are active and want to do well in English learning, so they should be given more chances to use the language in class.
They have learnt many words and expressions about daily life as well as the simple present tense. Also, they know how to use the adverbs and adverbial phrases of frequency in the previous lessons.
They still make mistakes when using the simple present tense with the singular form in 3rd person, especially in speaking and writing.
