【导入】Lead in1.Show the new words of section A ,and read them together.

2.Consolidate the new words through visual testing chart and ask students:What can you see?

3.Lead in the usage of can:What can he/she/they do?

Students answer:He/She/They can...(Practice the sentences pattern according to pictures)

4.Kangkang’s birthday is coming. Maria and Jane are talking what they can do at the party. Let’s learn section A together.

【讲授】Presentation1.Pre-listening:Listen to 1a and answer:Can Jane sing Chinese songs?

2.Listening:Listen to the tape again and read after it.

3.Read in roles with deskmates.

4.Underline key phrases according to Chinese and then read together.
