T: Hello boys and girls. Today we’ll move to the part of “Let’s Spell”. Before that let’s listen and sing a song.
Activity 2: Teacher leads students to review the sound of long a, short a, long i, short i, and short o.
T: We all know that there’re five vowel letters, and every letter has its own sound. Let’s read some words.

【设计意图】利用歌曲活跃课堂,并激活学生旧知。学生在唱的过程中对五个元音字母的短音进行复习;并通过歌曲复习CVC结构词汇的拆分与组合。
