四．教学过程

Step 1. Greeting &Warming-up

Greet the Ss and do some oral practices.

Sing “ Sports song ” together.

(设计意图：唱演歌曲，感受音律之美，提高学生的注意力，激发学生兴趣巩固所学生词。)

Step 2. Revision & Lead-in

Check the reading of the new words, have the Ss listen and read after the recording.

Lead in the story by questions:“What sports do you like?” “What sport is it? ”

（设计意图：培养学生自主学习的能力，养成预习的好习惯；问题的提出引出故事主题，调动了学生的思维，为下面教学埋下伏笔。）

Step 4: Presentation

Present an empty football field, ask the Ss “What do we need? ”

Ss: We need ____.

Using pad to make a football field by themselves, then share it with partner.

(设计意图：任务型教学与学生活动相结合，明确学习目标；自制球场，直观教学鼓励学生在玩中学，激发学生学习动力和兴趣。)

Look at the picture about Bill and Mike and guess what happened to them，then watch the video about story.

(设计意图：通过提出问题，猜一猜的方式引起学生对故事的学习兴趣，整体感知故事，引导学生注意单词excuse, problem的读法。)

Listen and order the pictures.
